Between our Midwestern work ethic and Chicago’s exploding tech scene, VOKAL is a mobile company on the move. Ah, Chicago, where complaining about the winter is a competitive sport. Call us a flyover state if you want, but there’s nowhere else we’d rather be than this sweet home. Our River North office is readily accessed by car, bike, bus, and train (we use all four), and makes it easy to run from work to whatever’s happening that evening, be it the workshops at 1871, a show at the Metro, or a movie in the park. Chicago has 288 green roofs, 150 miles of bike lanes, 1,800 bars, and hundreds of galleries, museums, theaters, and music venues. We love this town, and we think you’ll like it, too.

Yeah, we’ve got the ping pong table, the fridge full of snacks, and the zany antics to boot (who doesn’t?), but for us, VOKAL is more than that. VOKAL is where an entire office gets lost playing Minecraft and clients invite us to the launch party for their new beer. It’s where we spend evenings duking it out on the pitch during intramural soccer matches. It’s where our dogs hang out under the desks. It’s where we share stories, discuss the news, watch The Simpsons, and, yes, play ping pong. Yes, this is our office – but being here shouldn’t feel like work.
